It started in 2015 when the founder of the Clear Ocean Company experienced how plastic waste at sea threatened marine life.

Since then we have been looking at various possible technologies

for active plastic catch.

We have landed on an easy-to-use and scalable trawl.

It shall be easy to assemble, easy to use for all vessel sizes – from tiny boats, fishing boats and larger commercial fishing vessels.

In order to provide low income communities in coastal states all over the world access to this unique tool, the smallest trawls are based on standard parts for the most.
